Miiro Vegan Candies

Below you will find 2 quick and easy vegan candy recipes. We focused on a finding a recipe that transforms typical gummies into one that is vegan friendly and still maintains that deliciously sweet and chewy taste. These little vegan treats are also gluten-free with no-added sugar making them the perfect snack for friends and family!

Vegan Gummies




120ml (½ cup) fruit juice

1 tbsp maple syrup

½ tbsp agar agar powder




Pour the juice into a saucepan and mix in the agar agar until completely dissolved.

Add the maple syrup, then bring to a quick boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for a couple of minutes.

Pour the mixture into moulds, and allow to cool before placing in the fridge.
Refrigerate for 20 minutes and enjoy!

Store in an air-tight container in the fridge.

Peanut Butter Fudge




5 tbsp (1/3 cup) peanut butter

2 tbsp coconut oil

4 tbsp maple syrup

1 (35g) pack MiiRO Crisp-Coated Signature Chocolates with a Peanut Heart, chopped




Add all the ingredients in a small saucepan and heat over a medium heat until the mixture starts to bubble. Cook for a few minutes mixing continuously until the mixture thickens a little.

Take off the heat and fold in the chopped Miiro chocolates.

Pour into moulds, and allow to cool slightly before placing in the freezer for 3 hours or until set.
