Especially in times of upheaval and stress, taking time and energy for self-care is so important. Whether it’s turning off your laptop to meditate, leaving your phone behind to go for a walk, making yourself a cup of tea or a nourishing dinner, doing little things just for yourself is essential.


Because right now, you can’t treat yourself to a facial at your favourite salon, we’ve pulled together some ideas for indulgent face masks that you can make at home to give your skin a Spring refresh. Perfect for a little morning ritual or a weekend slow-down!


Cooling Cucumber

Refreshment for cool, soft skin.

1 Cucumber (Grated)

1 tbsp Lemon Juice

3 Fresh Mint Leaves (Crushed)

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Apply to face and neck. After 15 minutes, rinse off thoroughly.


Oatmeal Energiser

Energising and reinvigorating.

45g Whole or Rolled Oats

60ml Unsweetened Almond or Coconut Milk

1 tbsp Raw Apple Cider Vinegar

Blend the oats in a food processor until no large chunks remain. Add the remaining ingredients and pulse until well mixed. Apply to face and neck. After 10-20 minutes rinse thoroughly.


Choc Pudding

Rich, indulgent pampering for silky smooth skin.

1 Avocado

2 tbsp Cacao Powder

1 tbsp Agave Nectar

Mix all ingredients in a bowl until smooth. Apply to face and neck. After 10 minutes rinse thoroughly.



Turmeric Chickpea Dream

Great for acne-prone skin that needs a calming moment.

2 tbsp Chickpea Flour

½ tsp Unsweetened Coconut Milk

1 tsp Cucumber Juice

1/3 tsp Turmeric

Mix all ingredients in a bowl to form a paste. Apply to face. After 15 minutes (don’t let paste dry) rinse thoroughly (makes 2 applications).
